This year marked the inaugural year of the Arkansas Tech University, Department of Agriculture Collegiate Farm Bureau organization. Each year Collegiate Farm Bureau members compete in a regional collegiate farm bureau discussion meet. Contestants in this contest discuss their view points on various agricultural issues. Representing Arkansas Tech University at the regional meet was Brent Hendrix (left) Matt Goforth (center) and Steven Howard (right).

Matt Goforth placed third in this year’s competition. Presenting a check to Matt is Tom Jones (center) State Board Member of Arkansas Farm Bureau and Steve Hignight (far right) Northwest Area Coordinator Arkansas Farm Bureau.

Placing second in this year’s competition was Steven Howard.

Placing first and representing Arkansas Tech University at the State Collegiate Farm Bureau Discussion Meet is Brent Hendrix.
