to collect soil samples for nutrient analysis.

Student’s are shown how to use a soil survey to determine the soil type for the farm.
Richard than demonstrates how a Global Positioning System (GPS)
is used to locate where soil samples will be collected at ATU’s Farm.

Once the soil analysis is complete, this information will be used
to generate a soils nutrient map.
This map will help assist with management decisions
when it comes time to fertilize the various pastures.
